Thank God for Facebook Day 183

I received a special blessing this morning, as I sat down at the computer, after checking email I moved to Facebook. My pal Joan has been away this week on a well deserved vacation. Her absence has brought a void in my morning routine;
I`ve missed our early morning phone conversations that end with one or both of us praying into a new day.

As my friends will verify I am one of the least techie-people in Earleville, but today I have to confess the many wonders of Facebook. Joan and I had one of those little chat sessions going on, she`s in Salem, Mass. and you know where I am. In response to ready, set, go....we both began to pray....we both shared Holy Spirit goose bumps, Amen.....Amen............Thank You, God!

God hears our prays no matter what, when, where or how they are received.

Ephesians 2:17:18 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who where near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one spirit.

I`m so excited today I can hardly stand myself, don`t you love the rush of excitement and energy in anticipation of events that you know have been totally orchestrated by God. Oh, by the way if you don`t have those moments, we need to PRAY. They happen, trust me!

Tonight I will join several ladies, not sure how many, for the Healing Ministry Retreat in St. Michael's, MD As described in the flyer: The Healing Ministries of Kent Island United Methodist gifts this retreat in great love and thanks-giving to the dedicated Healing Team who so faithfully serves God`s people year after year. Your teamwork is awesome. You have captured God`s heart to minister His healing love to His people. God`s blessing over you all! The Healing Team. And, I`m invited to attended, Thank you, God.

I hope that what they have is so CONTAGIOUS that I can spread it all over for the GLORY OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isaiah 44:3-4 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessings on your descendant. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.

One more little co-inky-dink, notice the words in Isaiah, pour, water, thirsty, dry, and streams,.......... last night we had flooding rains for hours and hours! God wants to get our attention, are we listening?
