Abba, Father Day 204

Abba, Abba, Father. You are the potter; We are the clay, the work of your hands..... To often we`re to busy, to stressed, preoccupied with life to slow down enough to let God do His amazing sculpting. God made us with the desire to desire Him. Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Last night 5 sisters in Christ come together in my living room, sang Abba, Father, hoping to create an aroma of Jesus in their souls. Together in love and fellowship we laughed, shared, cried and prayed; allowing Jesus to permeate our souls restoring our peace and joy.

Helpful hint, if you reach for tissues to soak up cleansing tears, make sure that they are not Puffs, plus vicks. Puffs, with vick are great for the noses but disaster on the eyes; however, powerful restoring laughter to the room.

Through prayer we allowed the Holy Spirit to fill the room, opening the door of our hearts, allowing Jesus to replenish our depleted spirits. With God`s amazing grace, strength and love we shared one another's burdens.

Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

We closed the evening, hand in hands singing the Lord`s Prayer, our faces were aglow with the light of Jesus; same time, same place next week!

Zechariah 3:10 "In that day each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree, declares the Lord Almighty."

I thank God for the 4 women that joined me in my living room, they are God`s answers to my prayers!
