SHOW ME YOUR FACE LORD Day 184

Yes, indeed I did see the faces of our Lord this weekend, I was embraced, welcomed and drenched in love, by the hands and feet of Jesus from members of the Kent Island UMC prayer ministry.

Thanks you God, for directing my steps; in blind obedience, I set out on a journey not really sure where I was going or what was in store for the weekend; confidently with child-like enthusiasm trusting my Heavenly Father.

1 Corinthians 2:5.... so that your faith might not rest on man`s wisdom, but on God`s power.

As Jackie began the first talk on Friday evening, she flooded the room with scripture, raining downs God`s love and favor, creating in us a thirst to encounter the amazing Love that our Lord has for each of us. We are BORN-AGAIN to have a face to face relationship with our living God, re--presenting Jesus to the world by this encounter! I desire to be just like Jackie when I grow-up! Hum, is that`s God plan and purpose for each of us?

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the LORD,"plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back to the place from captivity.

Our bodies, minds and souls were bathed in pleasure and comfort as God`s faithful servants freely provided, lodging, food, massages, love and divine fellowship! God, I am so in Awe of YOU!

I could write volumes about the incredible weekend; I haven`t even gotten to the praying parts yet! As the discussions continued we learned the pure elegance of God`s joy. Needing joy to survive and grow in our likeness to Jesus. Our praise is inhaled by our Lord, as he exhales His presence upon us.

Our need for restoration and healing can keep us from knowing and receiving God`s grace, mercies and joy. Though tears of pain and surrender we are released from bondage and nurtured by the words of our Lord.

Isaiah 1:18-20 Come now, let us reason together says the Lord. "Though your sin are like scarlet they shall be as white as snow, though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land, but if you resist and rebel you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the Lord has spoke.

During our time together we were anointed, touched in prayer, soaked in prayer and tunneled in prayer; blanketed, smothered and encompassed in the gentle breath of God the Father, administered by His faithful servants.

Nehemiah 8:8 They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was being read.

It is my prayer that God has lead me to this wonderful faithful family , so that I too can do as they do. From first meeting, aproximately 50 people, on Friday night to departure on Saturday, I felt welcomed, special, loved. included, accepted, and pampered in the company of God`s people that constantly rely and listen to the Holy Spirit from within.

Matthew 5:14-16 " You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Amen!
