Happy Birthday Ginger Day 197

What started just days after my 59th birthday in March, Ginger`s recovery from her stoke, has now reached her 59th birthday. As teens it was wonderful to be the eldest best friend, but now aging is just one day at a time. Loving, supporting and caring for one another through this amazing journey, called life.

As I have previously mentioned Ginger returned to work, kinda, sorta! She had hoped for a six week period of assessment of her recovered abilities. After only two weeks, her supervisor advised her that she just wasn`t capable of the job before her; recommending that she consider other options.

My heart was weeping for Ginger as she struggled to share this disappointing news with her best friend! I am so thank to God that Ginger is alive! Her Father and brother Billy both lost their lives to heart attacks in their early forties.

I am struggling through tears, to share this pain. Oh no, the Christian radio station, at this very moment, is playing Amazing Grace! Thank you God, for that reality check!

I am so blessed to have the privilege of calling, my best friend in the whole wide world, to hear her voice, and wish her Happy 59th Birthday.

God doesn`t promise that we will never suffer, He promises to never leave us! Happy Birthday, Gin!!

Jeremiah 4:19 Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me. I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the battle cry. AMEN
