If you have been following this blog, I invite you to go back to July and read posting for Maine Mission Trip Day 100-106, it took me 114 days, or 2736 hours or l64,160 minutes to finish writing this entry! Why, again why? Because, it was done in God`s time, not mine!
I`m assuming, that the mission trip was so overwhelming for me, that God knew that I just wasn`t prepared to share it with the world. Perhaps, back in July, I was just not able to process the magnificence of this astounding journey. Or maybe, as I soaking in early morning prayer today, God gently reminded me, "you never asked for My help." That`s a giant, oops!
Ecclesiastes 8:5-6 Whoever obeys his commands will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure. For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a man`s misery weighs heavily upon him.
"You never asked for My help, " dah.... thank you God, for your love and continued patience with this cracked- pot that`s writing Your Blog.
I would like to share my poem that I wrote on our last day of our trip to Kingfield, Maine........... YOU CHURCH PEOPLE
You people left home as a team on a mission,
You people who God teaches what is best for you,
You people filled with joy and peace as you trust Him,
You people who dumped your Love of Jesus on a tiny town,
You people that knew the testing of faith develops perservance,
You people that painted a widow`s house from top to bottom with the face of
JESUS,
You people the righteous and the wise. Knowing what they do and what they
are, is in the hands of God,
You people who sowed stitches of joy,
You people who built a deck that lead to a river of love,
You people who know that there is a time for everything and a season for
everything under heaven,
You people who came as a team, the hand and feet of Jesus, who will return
home as a FAMILY TOUCHED BY THE HANDS OF GOD!
Job 36:10-11 He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
Thank you, God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I still, can`t read this poem, without tears of joy and Holy Spirit Goose Bumps......................
Beautiful, just beautiful... Thank you for sharing.
