Friend Day 220

Now that I`m enjoying the blessings of free time, thank you God, I`ve fallen into a peaceful morning routine. Morning prayer with my friend Lori, as she visits before starting her work day, check email, visiting friends on Facebook, prayer before writing this blog.

For years, as I was rushed out the house on a daily basis to get to work, I rarely give the computer a second glance. Friends will tell you, that if they really wanted to get in touch with me, they would have to pick up the phone; person to person, no texting.

Guess what, God had a different plan, He knew that I needed to be connected. As I navigate His blog, He has shown me that I have lifetime of experiences that He wants me to share with the world. This cracked-pot had to surrender, technology rocks!

Isaiah 64:8 Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

If God and I were friends on Facebook, what would He want to tell me? I am His child, I have been redeemed and forgiven of all of my sins, He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, Jesus displays his unlimited patience as an example for those who believe and receive eternal life, love each other as I have loved you, if you judge others you condemn yourself, walk with the wise, pride breeds quarrels, wisdom is found in those who take advice!

HE calls me friend, I am a FRIEND OF GOD!

Psalm 63:3-5 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of food......................Amen!
