Final Emmaus Team Meeting Day 224

How quickly ten weeks of preparation has passed, Thursday night we will begin the next Woman`s Walk To Emmaus. Our team has come together, lead by the Holy Spirit, forming bonds of love and friendship. We previewed talks, planned meals and covered all details for the weekend; we are set and ready to perform all tasks that are laid at our feet. We are eager to be the hands and feet of Jesus for 72 hours. Thank you, God for selecting this devoted group of women.

James 1:9 The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position.

Today, as the entire team came together I got to visit with my friend Alice. Alice and I served on team together last year; on that walk we witnessed a divine miracle healing. Months earlier, Alice had lost her voice, she could only speak in a whisper. Doctors were unable to diagnose the cause of her problem, they gave her some type of treatment that gave temporary restoration of her voice; leading to additional treatment when necessary.

Alice was prepared to deliver her talk, with her whisper of a voice. As is customary before the talk, 2 team members pray with each speaker. I happened to be one of the praying team members. We prayed that God would allow Alice to deliver His words, that her voice would be strong enough to complete her task.

Alice began her talk in the strained whisper, however during her presentation her voice got stronger and stronger and stronger. Tears of joy flowed as she make it to the end of her assigned talk. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, I could hardly believe my ears. As I am writing this today, I have Holy Spirit goose-bumps, as I recall this incredible miracle!

Today, Alice's voice was as strong as mine, she hasn`t had any treatments! Thank you, God! What a wonderful reunion.

Proverbs 3 :5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight.
