Standing Firm Day 271

Luke 21:18-19 But not a hair of your head will perish. By standing firm you will gain life.

Thank you, God----thank you, God! Yes my hair has been blown in the breeze of despair but I will not go bald; I will stand firm on the word of God. For many years, the simplicity of God`s promises failed to puncture my thick skull. I neglected the word of God, consuming my time with fear and anxiousness that drew me further from the truth of God the Father.

2 Corinthians 6:16 What agreement is there between the temple of Gods and idol. For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said; "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

With great joy and answered prayers, I share that my niece Kim has returned to the promises and hope of God. Once again, she has returned from the detour of her own destruction, believing that she and she alone was in control of her life. In recovery we are so easily side tracked by the sin in us. Believing lies and nurturing wounds that direct our thoughts and actions away from the promises of God. Satan, is the great deceiver, he knows our weakness and uses them to take control; slowly but surely.

1 John 3:7-8 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil`s work.

Jesus appeared to destroy the work of the devil; it`s not my job, it`s not Kim`s job and it`s not the job of man! Thank you, God I`m a lover not a fighter! Amen........

Psalm 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy all our days.
