Friday night 13 ladies will travel south to Ocean City, Maryland to spend the weekend together. Sleeping quarters may be close, as they share a two bedroom condo, but the excitement about girl-time together, outweighs the lack of sleeping comfort. Thank God, for king and queen size blow up mattresses.

God has chosen this group, less than five year ago I didn`t even know some of these women. In response to God`s lead 13 woman have accepted the invitation to spend and share a weekend together. Opening their hearts, minds and souls to whatever the Holy Spirit has in store. Sharing quality time together committed to glorifying God. Yes, we do have a tentative agenda, but.....
1 Samuel 10:6-7 Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them, and you will be changed into a different person. Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hands finds to do, for God is with you.
As God has shown me many times with this blog; He is in control, He is God and I am not! What a comforting feeling to know that I don`t have to worry about anything; maybe, just the food and paying for the condo!

Five years ago, if I were planning for a girls- weekend, I`m sure that our agenda would have a different twist. Maybe, going out to dinner following by dancing and drinking at a club. Maybe it`s just my aging mind set, but that doesn`t even appeal to me now. Perhaps, my sobriety has something to do with it!

I pray for the safety of all the women as they travel and I pray that we share a fantastic weekend of God felt love and friendship, new and old. Amen!
