If you`ve been following this, on going saga of my crazy daily activities, you know that I was once a Little Debbie distributor. This week I`m running the delivery route, to allow Robert, a much needed vacation. Once again, I`m behind the wheel of the big brown truck, delivering Little Debbie cakes! It`s just like riding a bike, somethings you never forget!
What a joy to be greeted by huge smiles and hugs, most receivers are not in the habit of hugging vendors! I feel really special, knowing that I left positive impressions on many, it is a true blessing. Thank you, God!
Matthew 12:33 Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and it fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.
Due to the fact that this delivery job lead me to my prayer ministry and to the world of blogging, I feel right at home. Lots of people possess the same everyday problems of life and all are in need of a shoulder to lean on. It takes me more time catching up on details of lives, than it does to make my deliveries.
Psalms 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the works of our hands for us---yes, establish the work of our hands.
Merle, is recovery from heart complication, Priscilla found her Aquila and is now engaged, Theresa`s cancer is back, now in the brain,(Please PRAY) Shirley lost her job after 27 years, Cathy quit in support of her friend, Pat is attempting once more to salvage her marriage and moving to South Carolina, Shore Stop still has the district manager that just rubbed me the wrong way, Ann Marie thinks she is ready for the Walk to Emmaus, Tammy really missed my visits, Miss Betty still needs a break, and my boss Rhonda, got married.
Now doubt, I`m a people person and have missed daily contact with the outside world. In just 2 days I have made several jobs contacts, I need to get out of the house and "On The Road Again."
Jeremiah 6:16 This is what the LORD says;"Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient path, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls........."
True, my soul has been a bit restless since my life has been confined to the walls of my house! I also have to admit, that I rather enjoy, the peaceful tranquility of driving the big brown truck! Nothing like spending quality time with God on country roads; that sounds like a good line for a song!
Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Lots of praying to do! Maybe, I should be a traveling evangelist! Amen.......
