Gina is a good friend from church as well as a neighbor. Today she called me to tell me that she was in need of prayers for our mutual friend Chris. Again, after just 2 short months there was another death in Chris` family.
The devastation of this death was difficult to fathom. Her 20 something nephew committed suicide at the home of his mother, in his brother`s bedroom. The sadness of this tregedy is overwhelming; the family is still recovering from the suicide death of this young mans father just 2 months ago.
I suggested to Gina that we pray, she was driving and pulled over as I began to pray for Chris and her family. This is such a test of our strength and faith in God. As Gina looked to the sky she said you won`t believe this, there is a cloud in the shape of a cross just above my car. Yes, I do believe that, God is always sending us signs of His presents especially when we are in need!
Proverbs 16 Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trust in the LORD.
