Much to my surprised I received a call from a reporter from the News Journal, he introduced himself and said that he would like to do a feature story about my Evangelism ministry. Are you sure, God!
He and a photographer would like to meet me and witness my praying as I conducted Little Debbie business. After not being allowed to enter Walmart with a photographer, we continued to my next stop, 301 Truck Plaza. If you follow this blog you may recall Day 11, when I was touched by the Holy Spirit as a young man prayed for me. Dicy, a long time acquaintance and friend(explained in Day 11) was behind the counter as we arrived.
It was very humbling to be interviewed and photographed, I`m just being used as God`s vessel, it`s nothing special that I`m doing. God is using me in my obedience to reach out to others. All Glory to God!
I asked Dicy if I could pray with her so that pictures could be taken for the article, she agreed. Her Mother is suffering from dementia; I suggested that we pray for her. Dicy accepted my offer for prayer. Hand in hand I began to pray, I can`t remember my exact words but the Holy Spirit was in total control. Soon Dicy and I shared a full body hug as she began to cried we shared confession of love for one another and hopefully forgiven for mistakes that I made many years ago.
I also shared tears of love and peace as I returned to my big brown truck! How ironic that Dicy and I would cross pathes after so many years of unforgiving. Not to mention that all of this happened as I have given notice to Little Debbie and will no longer have weekly visit to 301 Plaza. Could all of this been God purpose for my season as a Little Debbie Distributor. Unforgiving!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark 11: 24-25 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours, And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so the your Father in heaven may forgive you and your sins.
