4th of July Weekend Day 93

As many people arrive, in our normally peaceful community, to celebrate a long 4th of July weekend also comes reckless and careless behavior. I have found myself suddenly in prayer as the siren from our local firehouse is sounded;offering immediate prayer for victims and care providers as they respond to emergency demands

As a water oriented community where boaters gather to celebrate, do they forget the importance of safety and responsible behavior. Independence Day is not a time of total independence from safety, common sense and moderation.

However, I must admit that in times of my own addiction I have been there done that; by the Grace of God I`m not longer held captive. I pray that God will protect and deliver those still held in bondage by addictions; allowing a truly peaceful life worthy of living without hangovers, guilt and shame!!!!!!!!!

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
