Thanks to Debbie and Lily, Harrison and Hayden now have a trampoline in their front yard, for their jumping, tumbling and acrobatic pleasures. Yesterday, along with Harrison and Hayden`s parents Gina and Ross, Rick moved and reassembled this trampoline to it`s new home. I joined the team after my morning walk with Dianna and Janice; it feels great to be committed to daily walking, thank you, Father God!
Oops, back to the trampoline story, The boys waited anxiously as we reassembled their new gift. Yes, gift from Debbie, even though she could have sold Lily`s outgrown trampoline, she felt that God wanted her to give it to the Troy family, requiring only removal and reassembly!
After 4 hours, the safety netted trampoline was ready for jumping pleasure. The four of us stood back, delighting in a job well done, that will entertain Hayden and Harrison for years. Thank you, Father!
Trampoline, a bouncy canvas stretched device for jumping and tumbling, some with and without safety nets. Sounds like the definition of my life before Jesus. For years I bounced and tumbled without a safety net, often falling face first into self destruction and pain; not knowing God and His mighty unconditional love for me.
Isaiah 35:8 And a highway will be there, it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
Father God, thank you for the Way of Holiness, I know that I`m a work in progress, but I now rest in the safety-net of Jesus. Yes, I still tumble and fall but I know that your holiness makes me whole. I can jump for the joy of the LORD and with confidence land in the arms of your Son, my savior, Jesus Christ.
James 1:2-6 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Thank you Heavenly Father for your steadfast love on the trampoline of life`s ups and downs. I love how you love me! AMEN.........
