Praise! Day 335

Nehemiah 9:5-6....."Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting." "Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.  You alone are the LORD.  You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is in it, the seas and all that is in them.  You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship YOU.

Once again, I praise the LORD for the blessings of free time, early this morning as Rick and I motored up the Bohemia River.   The stillness of the morning, the calm, the peace and and tranquility of the day enveloped my soul.

As I soaked in the beauty of the day, I imagined the hands of God filled with color and majesty as he created the shorelines; flooding the depths of the river bottom with living water. Waters that has provided food, joy and entertainment for generations.

As I relish in the moment, Rick was on a covert mission; sent by his buddy Dale to spy on anyone that might be crabbin in the mouth of the river.  Local crabbers anxiously await the arrival of the tasty crustaceans to the Bohemia.   Crabbers are known to be very secretive about sharing the locations of these bottom feeding, side walking crittters.   A bushel of crabs on a holiday weekend can easily fetch between $l60 to well over $200 per bushel.

One boat in sight, crab pots sinking to the bottom, oh yeah, this is what we`re lookin for.  After crusin to look nonconspicous, while in ear shot, the lone crabber volunteered secret information!  He hasn`t caught one crab.  Mission complete, crabs have not migrated to the Bohemia, yet.  Rick to Dale, negitive on the crab sightings, over and out!

Psalm 136:1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. 5-9  who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever, who spread out the earth upon the water, His love endures forever, who made the great lights, His love endure forever, the sun to govern the day, His love endure forever, the moon and star to govern the night, His love endures forever.

Sorry, no crab this Fourth of July weekend, all things in God`s time.  Blessings and safe travels! Amen.
