On The Job Training Day 57

Without a doubt my anticipation for the arrival of this day has been extraordinary. Today with my christian sister, Catt Houser we traveled over an hour, to arrive at Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Federalsburg, MD. for their 10 AM service.

Why in the world would I be so excited about going to Federalsburg? Several years ago when I was forced to close my Curves franchise, people asked what I was going to do. For some unknown reason, I began telling everyone that I was going to work for God! I had no clues why this answer continued flowing from my lips. Some of my friend and family looked at my like I had 2 heads, believing that I`d finally gone off the deep end!

As I have previously mentioned, I have been asked to set up an evangelism team for our church conference. Today at this little church, the chairperson, Levin Van Sant, for the evangelism team was going to deliver a sermon, he invited me to attended for hands on training.

After Levin delivered his message, he invited the entire congregation to come forward for prayers of renewal and healing. Time to go to work. Catt and I were invited to the alter to pray with all that came forward. As Levin anointed, In the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit we followed with individual praying.

On Levin`s prompting I began praying with and for Pastor Lee. Shortly after I began praying we shared a loving embrace resting our heads on one another. Spiritually prompted, both of us began praying in tongues, the Holy spirit lead both of us as we offered our words to the Lord.

By this time, a large portion of the congregation was standing in line awaiting prayer. I felt the Holy spirit take control of my words, I felt as though I was floating two feet off the floor as I moved down the line delivering individual prayers.

With one of the ladies that I prayed with, I felt a soul to soul connection, we embraced one another in a full body hug. As we held tightly to one another I began to pray. She began to gently cry I could feel her entire body tremble as I held her tightly in a loving embrace.

We stepped back from one another and stared into one another eyes without saying a word. It was as if God was using me as His vessel to deliver a gift of His love and compassion to His daughter in need of healing. As I continued to stare into her very being, I told her that I loved Her, she responded with the exact same words. This was one of the most humbling moments that I have experienced.

If this is the work that God has been preparing me to do, I most graciously and humbly await further teaching and instruction. All of my praise and glory to God the Father!

John 14:15-17 "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- the spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
