7:22 am Call Day 54

This morning at 7:22 my cell phone rang as I was driving my big brown truck down route 213. A familiar voice greeted me with morning cheer; it`s really hard to miss you in that truck.

It`s always great to hear from friends that are heading to work early in the day. I recognized my friend Julie as this early riser. Just calling to say good morning!

We chatted for a few moments; I inquired about her new living arrangements with her new roommates. All seems to be going well. She told me that they had a house meeting and discussed house issues. I agreed that talking things out and not letting them fester is a wise practice.

We ended our conversation with a morning prayer, since we were both driving I encouraged Julie to keep her eyes open and on the road!

It was such a blessing to hear from Julie, like most of us Julie suffers from hurts, habits and hang-up from everyday life. A while back Julie got very annoyed at me for something that I said and did. I apologised and felt terrible as we struggled to rebuild our friendship.

The only thing that I could do, with faith in God was to pray, that`s exactly what I did. I remember speaking to Julie at a church function and she just sort of ignored me. My husband questioned me and wanted to know why I even bothered. I told him that I was going to love Julie through this.

Receiving this phone call was an affirmation that my prayers to God have been answered. I thank God for His faithfulness!

Isaiah 28:9-10 "Whom will he teach knowledge, and to whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from milk, those taken from the breast? For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little."
