Prayers for Suzi Day 349

Job 16:16-17  My face is red with weeping, deep shadows ring my eyes; yet my hands have been free of violence and my prayer is pure.

I received a text from Gina, requesting prayer for Suzi, she just got fired from her job!  Fired from a job that she needed, fired by a man that she called her friend.  Fired by the father of her young friend Ashely, that was killed 2 years ago in a boating accident.  Fired by the man that she thought she shared a special family bond; so many questions with no explanation, painfully escorted from the property.

2 Corinthians 3:3-4  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

What can you say, my heart breaks because of the pain and discomfort suffered by a God-sent friend!  I`m sorry.....as a friend, is it enough just to listen with love and compassion?  Isaiah 54:10  Though the mountains be shaken and the hill be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

As difficult as this news is for Suzi, no doubt God will use it for His glory; perhaps to teach a difficult lesson in the journey of life.  Perhaps, a break-over, a time for God to mend and repair Suzi`s heart and soul.  Perhaps a time to direct her steps closer to her divine purpose!  Only God knows, only faith in Him will suffice.

What a blessing and privilege to be used by God in Suzi`s time of need.  I pray that God will bless and wrap his tender loving arms around my friend.  I pray that God will send  friends with love and compassion, from near and far.  Father God, direct her steps and open doors for her future endeavors.  I pray for her friend that fired her, and that Suzi finds answers to the questions of her heart.  Father God, I pray that you have plans for a new job that is for your glory, Suzi loves you!

Mark 11:24-25  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you receive it, and it will be yours.  And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Amen. I love you, Suzi, trust GOD!
